Accessibility

Bowman's Stove & Patio wants everyone to be able to browse our catalog, get a quote, and schedule service — including customers who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology. We work to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act for websites.

Accessibility is part of how this site is built, not an add-on widget. Among other things, we:

• test pages with automated WCAG checks as part of development, and fix failures before they ship;
• keep text contrast, focus outlines, form labels, and image descriptions to the AA standard;
• build shopping, quoting, and scheduling flows to work with a keyboard alone, without requiring a mouse or touch.

A few parts of the site lean on visual, third-party, or highly interactive tools. Where they fall short, there's always another way to get the same help:

• Room planner and 3D product viewers — these are drag-and-drop visual tools. Everything they offer (layout advice, finish and fabric options) is also available from our design staff by phone, email, or in the showroom.
• Embedded videos and chat— burn videos and the text-us widget come from outside providers whose players we don't control. Product details are always available as text on the same page, and you can reach us by phone or email instead of chat.
