The Elegance ST 42 II is a blend of technology, beauty, and innovation — the only see-through wood fireplace that is EPA certified. Glass on both faces lets you enjoy the fire from two separate areas of your home, while the soapstone-lined 3.8 cu ft firebox delivers more heat and higher efficiency than a firebrick box and the patented air control slows the burn for 6 to 12 hours of consistent output — up to 100,000 BTU. Call it stingy on wood, big on heat, and great on looks. Choose rectangular or arched doors and louvered or clean-face fronts (both sides are included with each front option), then add a gravity vent, ducted hot-air kit, or fresh-air kit to suit the installation. Note: after its recertification the ST 42 II ships without blowers as a single-burn-rate appliance.
