About the Fusion 18

The compact model of Supreme's Fusion series — the same patented technology and contemporary flush-mount style in a size for smaller masonry openings, with a generously proportioned firebox and up to 60,000 BTU/hr.

The Fusion 18 is the ideal wood-burning insert for blending the latest heating technology into a smaller existing fireplace. The compact model of the Fusion series still offers a generously proportioned 1.85 cu ft firebox and viewing panel — up to 60,000 BTU/hr for 4 to 8 hours per load, heating 500-1,800 sq ft. The same three patented technologies as its bigger brother underpin its operation: Automatic Air Control for consistent long-lasting fires, the circulating chamber that keeps heat in the room instead of the old chimney, and the perforated baffle that keeps the glass clear while stretching burn times. The hushed dual-fan system distributes the heat with ease, the optional built-in barbecue grill cooks over the embers year-round, and it installs on a 5" liner — perfect for narrow masonry chimneys.
