About the Oakport 18

The Oakport 18 is Kozy Heat's compact free-standing direct-vent gas stove — 24,500 BTU/hr with electronic (IPI) ignition, and the fan kit and thermostat remote come included. Vents through a wall or roof with no chimney, so it fits almost any room. (The separate Oakport Millivolt is the standing-pilot version with the fan and remote as add-ons.)

The Oakport 18 is a compact free-standing direct-vent gas stove that punches above its size: 24,500 BTU/hr on natural gas (24,000 on LP) at 75–77% efficiency. This is the IPI model, and it comes fully equipped — electronic intermittent-pilot ignition, the fan kit, and the thermostat remote control are all included, so there's nothing to add to get the complete stove. Because it's direct vent there's no chimney or existing fireplace required; it connects to the outside through its own venting, which opens up almost any room, even in homes that weren't built for a gas appliance. Traditional legs and a standard screen front are included, with a Prairie design overlay and black glass refractory available to change the look. Limited lifetime warranty. Looking for the standing-pilot version that runs with no electricity at all? That's the separate Oakport Millivolt, where the fan kit and remote are optional add-ons.
